Big East Conference - Basketball

The BIG EAST Conference is an NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic conference and an NCAA member since 2013. It administers men’s and women’s basketball regular-season competition, standings, statistics, awards, broadcasts and conference championships for its member institutions. The 2026 women’s tournament took place from 6–9 March at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, and the men’s tournament ran from 11–14 March at Madison Square Garden in New York; UConn and St. John’s won the respective championships. For 2026–27, the men’s league has 110 conference games in a double round-robin format, with the tournament scheduled for 10–13 March 2027 at Madison Square Garden. The women’s 2027 championship is scheduled for 5–8 March at Mohegan Sun Arena. The conference is headquartered in New York City.
