American Rivers Conference - Football

The American Rivers Conference administers NCAA Division III American football, with the conference champion determined by final regular-season standings. The regular-season winner receives the league’s automatic qualification berth to the NCAA Division III Football Championship, while conference regulations provide head-to-head and further tiebreaking procedures where necessary. Wartburg College won the 2025 American Rivers title with an unbeaten 8–0 conference record, finishing 10–1 overall. The championship was Wartburg’s 21st in programme history and fourth consecutive, and delivered its 16th Division III playoff appearance. Coe finished second at 7–1 and Central third at 6–2. The conference also publishes official statistical tables and coaches’ selections for All-Conference, offensive and defensive MVP, rookie and coach-of-the-year honours.
