City of Cape Coral Parks & Recreation Adult Sports

City of Cape Coral Parks & Recreation Adult Sports is the municipal Athletic Division programme that operates organised adult softball leagues. Its programme includes Tuesday co-recreational, Wednesday men's, Thursday women's, 45-plus, 50-plus and Friday co-recreational church softball leagues. Adult sports use team registration rather than individual enrolment; managers submit rosters, maintain player contact information, communicate schedule changes and oversee team conduct. The Athletic Division publishes league information and rules, supplies fields and oversees 53 athletic fields across 11 city complexes. Cape Coral Sports Complex, the city's largest athletic facility, has five lighted softball fields and hosts adult men's softball leagues as well as tournaments. The organisation is a public local-recreation provider and league operator, rather than an independent softball governing body.
