Premier Soccer League

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is the trading name of South Africa’s National Soccer League and the administrator of professional football in the Republic of South Africa. Established in 1996, it is an affiliate member of the South African Football Association (SAFA). The PSL promotes, organises, controls and administers professional football and works with its member clubs on the development of the game. Its competitions include the Betway Premiership, South Africa’s 16-club domestic top flight, the Motsepe Foundation Championship, the MTN8, the Carling Knockout and the Nedbank Cup. The Nedbank Cup brings together clubs from the Premiership, the National First Division and SAFA’s regional leagues. The official PSL site publishes fixtures, results, match information, club news and competition announcements.
