Wyoming High School Activities Association Football

The Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA) coordinates and regulates interscholastic American football for its member high schools in Wyoming. Its football programme publishes annual practice and contest dates, schedules, classifications, playoff information and state-championship arrangements. Schools compete in 4A, 3A, 2A, 1A nine-man and 1A six-man classifications, with state championships held at the University of Wyoming’s War Memorial Stadium. WHSAA provides links to NFHS playing rules and requires safety resources covering concussion awareness, heat illness prevention and hydration. As a private nonprofit association, it works with member schools to administer safe and fair high-school activities while maintaining rules, records and championship events.
