Northern Amateur Football League

The Northern Amateur Football League (NAFL) is a grassroots football competition in Northern Ireland, instituted in 1923. It brings together clubs, players and volunteers through a multi-division league and cup programme. The league’s official platform provides fixtures, results, tables, club information and league news, alongside historical records, officials’ information and competition documents. Its established divisional structure includes the Premier Division and regional Division 1 and Division 2 sections. The NAFL also operates the National Conference League, a phased national pathway for ambitious clubs; its Conference Premier began in 2026/27, with further divisions planned. Through these competitions the organisation supports participation, fair play and a regular competitive programme for amateur football across Northern Ireland.
