Football Australia

Football Australia Limited is the national governing body for football in Australia. Established in 2004, it is a member of FIFA, the Asian Football Confederation and the ASEAN Football Federation. Football Australia leads, promotes, develops and regulates the game through a national system that includes state and territory member federations, clubs and other members. It administers Australia’s men’s, women’s, youth and para national teams, supports player, coach and referee development, and provides governance, integrity and member-protection frameworks. The organisation oversees national football pathways and competitions including the Hahn Australia Cup and the National Premier Leagues, while the professional A-Leagues are operated separately. Its stated purpose is to lead, promote, unite, develop and regulate football in Australia.
