Lebanese Basketball Federation

The Lebanese Basketball Federation (Fédération Libanaise de Basketball, FLB) is the national governing body for basketball in Lebanon. FIBA lists the federation as Lebanon’s national member association in FIBA Asia, with Akram Halabi as president and Charbel Michel Rizk as secretary general. The federation states that it develops and promotes basketball from youth activity and the Elite Division to senior national teams, and its executive structure includes national teams, competitions, youth, courts and FIBA-coordination responsibilities. Lebanon’s national teams are active in FIBA competition, including the 2027 Basketball World Cup Asian Qualifiers. The federation was reinstated with full FIBA rights after a 2013 suspension, following a review of its statutes and organisation. This record covers the national federation, rather than the Lebanese Basketball League, any individual club, or a FIBA regional competition.
