Basketball Association of Singapore

The Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) is the national basketball federation for Singapore. Established as a society in 1967 and registered as a charity in 2010, it is affiliated with FIBA and the Singapore National Olympic Council and is constituted to advance basketball, promote and arrange competitions, and support national representation. BAS operates from the Singapore Basketball Centre and administers a national selection and development framework, including youth, U16, U23 and senior national-team pathways, 5x5 and 3x3 activity, coach appointments, referee and table-official education, safeguarding and local competitions. Its current programme includes the BAS Youth Cup, masters competitions and national-team selection activity for 2026 international events. BAS’s 2024–2029 multi-year plan focuses on high-performance excellence, athlete pathways, participation and a sustainable basketball ecosystem. This record is for the national federation, not a club, commercial league, school association or a single tournament.
