Scottish Amateur FA

The Scottish Amateur Football Association (SAFA) is an affiliated national association of the Scottish FA for amateur football in Scotland. It supports and coordinates affiliated amateur associations, leagues and clubs; administers player registration through the Scottish FA COMET system; and organises cup competitions played under its auspices. Its competitions include the Scottish Amateur Cup and the Scottish Amateur Sunday Trophy, with clubs entering through affiliated regional leagues. SAFA governs its own amateur-football remit and is distinct from the Scottish FA, Scotland’s national governing body for football.
