The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) is the continental governing body for association football in Africa and one of FIFA’s six confederations. It brings together 54 member associations and works with its six zonal unions to develop, regulate and promote football across the continent. CAF organises major men’s, women’s, youth, club and schools competitions, including the Africa Cup of Nations, Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup and African Schools Football Championship. It establishes competition regulations, club-licensing requirements and commercial and media frameworks for its competitions, while supporting national associations, clubs, player pathways and football development. CAF’s official languages and communications include English, French and Arabic; its international website is published in English and French.
