New York State Public High School Athletic Association

The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) administers boys’ and girls’ public high-school lacrosse state championships across Classes A–D. Its official platform publishes championship schedules, brackets, participants, event details and state-tournament coverage. In 2026, sixteen teams contested each of the boys’ and girls’ state championship events; girls’ semifinals and finals were held at SUNY Cortland, while boys’ East and West semifinals preceded the finals at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
