Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association

The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association administers high-school alpine and Nordic skiing, with separate winter calendars, tournament formats and state championships for boys and girls. The 2026 Nordic championships took place at Prospect Mountain in Woodford, Vermont, using freestyle wave starts; Mount Greylock won both the girls’ and boys’ team titles, while Leigh Niedeck of Brookline and Patrick Holland of Mount Greylock won the individual races. The 2026 alpine championships were held at Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, Massachusetts, with slalom and giant-slalom results combined for team standings. Medway’s girls co-operative won its first alpine team championship, and Saint John’s Preparatory School won its fifth straight boys’ title.
