Frontier Conference - Track and Field

The Frontier Conference administers NAIA men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field for its member institutions. The conference holds championship meets, publishes schedules, live results and all-conference lists, and recognises athletes and coaches. Its first indoor track and field championship was held in February 2026 at the Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex in Brookings, South Dakota, where Dickinson State won the men’s title with 134.5 points. The outdoor championship followed on 2–3 May at the Biesiot Activities Center in Dickinson, North Dakota; Montana Tech won the men’s title 154–150 over Dickinson State, and 14 conference-meet records were set. Carson Krack of Carroll was named the men’s Outdoor Most Valuable Athlete and Morgan McClernan of Montana Tech Track Athlete of the Meet. For 2026–27, Dakota State will host the indoor championships in Brookings on 20–21 February, while Dickinson State will host the outdoor championships in Dickinson.
