Hawaii High School Athletic Association - Water Polo
United States - Water Polo
The Hawaii High School Athletic Association (HHSAA) administers the girls’ water polo state championship programme for public and independent member high schools in Hawaii. Founded in 1956, the HHSAA is a nonprofit educational athletic organisation serving member schools statewide and operating state championships across its sanctioned sports. Its water polo programme publishes tournament information, championship records, schedules, results, statistics, news and all-tournament teams. The 2026 Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts, LP Girls Water Polo State Championships used regional first-round sites at Kona Aquatics, Kihei Aquatics and Kamehameha-Kapalama before the main rounds at Kamehameha-Kapalama. The tournament’s quarterfinals and semifinals were held on 7 and 8 May, followed by fifth-place, third-place and championship matches on 9 May. Punahou won the 2026 state title, with Kamehameha-Kapalama second, Kaiser third and Kahuku fourth. The official bracket records a championship and a consolation pathway, as well as match scores, schedules, venues and statistics. HHSAA also maintains sport coordinators and an officials-recognition programme supporting its statewide championship administration.
