Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations - Wrestling

The Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations administers the provincial secondary-school wrestling championship in Ontario. OFSAA coordinates the championship through its member associations, schools, athletic directors and teacher-coaches, with current playing regulations, eligibility requirements and tournament procedures. The 2027 championship is scheduled for 4-5 March, and the 2026 event was hosted in Peterborough. OFSAA applies Canadian Amateur Wrestling Association rules for current cadet competition, subject to the federation’s published exceptions. The 2026 competition used TrackWrestling for tournament updates and published brackets, top-six results and team standings. Coaches register individual athletes and submit mandatory release material through the OFSAA HUB after their association championships; the 2026 checklist set the HUB registration deadline on 25 February, seeding forms on 26 February and remaining documents on 27 February. Schools must attend a mandatory virtual coaches’ meeting and follow championship guidance on clothing, safety, supervision and participant documentation. The programme recognises weight-class champions with full-colour wall charts and gold medals and presents leadership and convenor awards. OFSAA’s official site provides current rules, registration information, results, event guidance and championship media resources.
