Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations - Badminton

The Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations administers the provincial secondary-school badminton championship in Ontario. The 2027 championship is scheduled for 5-7 May at Markham Pan Am Centre in Unionville, with Shawn Morris as convenor and John Ostapeic as co-convenor. OFSAA competition is divided into High School and Open categories and includes boys’ singles, girls’ singles, boys’ doubles, girls’ doubles and mixed doubles. The 2026 championship schedule ran from 30 April to 2 May and used Markham Pan Am Centre and Albert Campbell Collegiate Institute; official draws and results were published for each discipline in both categories. Association convenors submit entries after their association championships, while athletic directors register eligible participants through the OFSAA HUB. The 2026 entry deadline was 25 April, followed by deadline-based submission of student waivers, coach confirmations and supervision forms. OFSAA publishes playing regulations and applies its school-sport eligibility, conduct and concussion-awareness requirements.
