Surprise Parks and Recreation

Surprise Parks and Recreation is the City of Surprise, Arizona department that provides municipal sport, recreation, aquatics, adaptive recreation and community programmes. Its youth sports offer includes tee-ball, baseball, basketball, flag football, kickball, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball, alongside sports camps and classes. Adult offerings include basketball, kickball, co-ed volleyball, flag football, softball and tennis, with a free-agent service for individuals seeking a team. The 2026 adult sports calendar scheduled recurring men’s, women’s and co-ed softball seasons at Dick McComb and Bicentennial parks, while youth softball was offered for ages 7–15 in fall and spring seasons. The department publishes current adult league rules and team-roster forms and administers programme registration through Surprise Rec. It also provides adaptive programmes, including Buddy Sports and Special Olympics opportunities, plus aquatic activity and public sport facilities. This record concerns a municipal recreation-programme operator rather than an independent sports federation.
