Softball Victoria

Softball Victoria (SV) is the state sporting body that governs and administers softball for its 16 member associations in Victoria, Australia. Under its federated governance model from April 2026, Softball Victoria provides statewide leadership in strategy, governance and high performance, while affiliated associations and clubs deliver local competitions, programmes and community engagement. Its purpose is to enable Victorians to engage with softball in meaningful and positive ways by expanding participation opportunities and addressing barriers to involvement. SV supports clubs, schools, coaches, umpires, scorers, state teams and welfare services. Its participation programme ranges from T-ball and junior carnivals to social slowpitch, fastpitch, the Women's State League and representative pathways, including youth, open and over-35 state-team activity. Softball Victoria is overseen by a nine-position Board of Directors and operational staff, and is aligned with the national Softball Australia system while retaining its own state-level governance. This record concerns Victoria’s state authority, not Softball Australia.
