Guernsey Softball Association

Guernsey Softball Association (GSA) is the island association for softball in Guernsey and describes itself as the home of the sport on the island. Established in 1936, it is among the longest-running softball associations and organises registered league, knock-out and tournament play under its own competition rules, with World Baseball Softball Confederation rules applied except where GSA regulations specify otherwise. Its programme includes first- and second-division league competition, single-sex and ladies' activity, youth participation, corporate introductory tournaments and closed tournaments. The association administers team and player registration, fixtures, officiating arrangements and competition standards, and supports Guernsey representative teams in events such as British Softball Federation competitions and WBSC Europe slowpitch championships. GSA is the Guernsey-level organiser and governing association for its competitions, not the British national governing body for softball.
