Leeds League Basketball

Leeds League Basketball, formally the Leeds & District Basketball League (LDBL), provides organised amateur basketball for adults in Leeds and the surrounding Yorkshire region. Affiliated with Basketball England, it offers a safe recreational competition environment for men, women, young adults, clubs, qualified referees and table officials. The league's 2026-27 programme comprises a men's Premier Division and Divisions One to Four, alongside a Ladies Premier Division, with league and playoff competition. More than 450 players and over 30 teams participate across five divisions. The League publishes fixtures, results, standings, team profiles, referee information and administrative documents. Its regulations use current Basketball England rules, require player and coach registration with Basketball England, and set procedures for team eligibility, transfers, results reporting, forfeits, officials and promotions. Teams from outside the local area are welcome, subject to the practical requirements of travel and participation.
