Scottish Swimming

Scottish Swimming is the national governing body for aquatic sports in Scotland, including water polo, swimming, para swimming, diving, high diving, open-water swimming, artistic swimming and masters swimming. It is the trading name of Scottish Amateur Swimming Association Limited, a Scottish registered company, number SC246645. Scottish Swimming provides leadership and expert support to members, clubs and partners to grow participation, strengthen sustainable clubs and develop athletes and coaches through aquatic pathways. In water polo it supports club participation and runs league and cup competition for under-16 and under-19 boys and girls, and senior men and women, including Scottish Cup events. The organisation is governed through a Board of Directors and Council, supported by staff and volunteers, and maintains governance, safeguarding, anti-doping and equality frameworks. It is the national governing body for water polo in Scotland, rather than a water-polo-only federation.
