Utah Rugby League Association

Utah Rugby League Association (URLA), operating as Utah Rugby League, is a community rugby league competition in Utah. It administers the Hopoate Cup and supports member clubs, player registration, referee participation and club formation. The 2026 competition has active clubs in Bluffdale, Riverton and Lehi, with additional historic clubs retained on its directory. URLA matches use the International Rugby League's 13-a-side Laws of the Game, supplemented by its own eligibility, conduct and disciplinary rules; players must register through the official URLA system and may represent one league team per season unless transferred. The league publishes fixtures, standings, scores, match reports and club rosters, and its stated funding model is sponsorship. This organisation is for rugby league, a distinct code from rugby union, and is a regional competition operator rather than Utah's USA Rugby-sanctioned union governing body.
