Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations - Beach Soccer

The Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) is the regional football body serving member associations in East and Central Africa. Its beach-soccer programme creates a regional competition pathway for national teams and supports the growth of the discipline within the CECAFA zone. CECAFA organised its inaugural Beach Soccer Championship in Mombasa, Kenya, with confirmed participants including Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zanzibar, Burundi and invited teams from Malawi and Seychelles. The council also reports on its member associations’ preparation for the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations. Through its tournament programme, CECAFA brings together national associations, competition organisers and players in a structured regional setting.
