Council of Southern Africa Football Associations - Beach Soccer

The Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) brings together the national football associations of Southern Africa and develops the game through regional competition, administration and technical programmes. Beach soccer is one of its established competition disciplines, overseen by a dedicated Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee. The COSAFA Beach Soccer Championship provides an international tournament pathway for member associations and invited teams; its fourth edition was staged in Durban in 2024. COSAFA has also entered a three-year partnership with Beach Soccer Worldwide to expand competitions, infrastructure, coaching and referee development, and to support women’s beach-soccer development across its member associations.
