The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) is the Delaware Department of Education’s official designee for the conduct of interscholastic athletics. In football, DIAA administers Class 1A, 2A and 3A state championships, classification and district alignment, tournament procedures and NFHS rules resources. Its 2026 football postseason includes quarterfinals, semifinals and state finals in early December.
