Western District Cricket Union

The Western District Cricket Union (WDCU) governs and administers club cricket in the west of Scotland. Its constitution sets out responsibility for promoting cricket in the West District, running league and cup competitions, organizing junior cricket, supporting representative teams, and developing coaches, officials and administrators. WDCU competitions include Saturday premiership and championship leagues, Sunday and evening leagues, and the Rowan, McCulloch, Western and Greenwood cups. The union publishes fixtures, tables, statistics, playing conditions, disciplinary information, club contacts and match-return requirements. Its junior section promotes participation across clubs from Stirling and the central belt to Dumfries and Ayr.
