Ontario Premier League

The Ontario Premier League (OPL) is Ontario’s pro-am, standards-based soccer competition for women and men. Launched in 2014 as League1 Ontario, it provides a pathway between high-performance youth football and elite amateur and professional levels. The OPL is owned and managed by Canadian Soccer Business and is sanctioned through Canada Soccer and Ontario Soccer. Its structure includes three senior men’s and women’s tiers—OPL 1, OPL 2 and OPL 3—plus an under-20 competition and the OPL Cup. OPL 1 and OPL 2 use single-table formats with promotion and relegation, while OPL 3 operates through regional conferences and playoffs. The official site provides club and player directories, schedules, standings, results, news, match video and disciplinary information.
