FIFA

FIFA, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association, is the global governing body for football. Since 1904, it has overseen and promoted the development of the game from grassroots activity to elite international competition, working with 211 member associations and six continental confederations. FIFA organises major global tournaments including the FIFA World Cup, FIFA Women’s World Cup and FIFA Club World Cup, and supports member associations through investment, technical expertise and development programmes such as FIFA Forward. Its official platform publishes international fixtures, results, rankings, tournament information, association profiles, regulations and football-development news.
