Mid-American Conference - Wrestling

The Mid-American Conference administers NCAA Division I men’s wrestling for 12 member programs, including full and affiliate members. It conducts regular-season dual competition, a conference championship, specialty awards, Academic All-MAC recognition and NCAA championship qualification. Rider won its first MAC Wrestling Championship in 2026 at the University at Buffalo’s Alumni Arena, with Tyler Klinsky named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Wrestler. The MAC received 27 NCAA Championship qualifying allocations for 2026, and Klinsky later earned All-America status at the NCAA Division I Championships. The league’s head coaches selected Klinsky as MAC Wrestler of the Year and Lock Haven’s Sam Gautreau as Freshman of the Year.
