Mountain East Conference - Track and Field

The Mountain East Conference administers NCAA Division II indoor and outdoor track and field competition for its member institutions. Its outdoor championship is a three-day meet with men’s and women’s individual events, team scoring and All-MEC recognition for the top three finishers in each event. In 2025, the University of Charleston won both outdoor team championships: the men scored 168 points across 21 events for a fifth straight title, while the women scored 205 points. Charleston also swept the 2025 MEC indoor team titles. The conference’s athletes progress to NCAA Division II competition; five MEC athletes competed at the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships and earned Second Team All-America recognition.
