Public Schools Athletic League

The Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) administers boys' and girls' interscholastic gymnastics for New York City public high schools. Its official gymnastics pages publish schedules, statistical leaders, standings, entries, playoff brackets, championship history and sport-specific rules. Gymnastics is listed as a winter PSAL sport. The 2025-26 season included girls’ team and individual championships, novice championships and boys’ and girls’ season review coverage; Bronx High School of Science won the girls’ team championship. The current programme lists girls’ varsity divisions across the boroughs and a boys’ varsity division, with matches scheduled at participating school gyms. PSAL gymnastics rules set requirements for approved interscholastic competition and coordination with the league’s gymnastics officials.
