Big 12 Conference - Beach Volleyball
United States - Beach Volleyball
The Big 12 Conference sponsors NCAA Division I women's beach volleyball and administers its annual postseason championship. Beach volleyball and lacrosse began as Big 12 championship sports in spring 2025. For the 2025-26 season, the beach-volleyball league comprised full members Arizona, Arizona State and TCU, plus affiliate members Boise State, Florida State and South Carolina. The 2026 Big 12 Beach Volleyball Championship presented by Allstate was held on 23-24 April at Bear Down Beach on the University of Arizona campus in Tucson. All six programmes played pool competition on the opening day before a single-elimination bracket determined the champion. Florida State, the top seed, won the title in its first season as an affiliate member by defeating TCU 3-0 in the final. Alexis Durish and Audrey Koenig of Florida State were named the championship's Most Outstanding Pair. The conference named postseason awards after the event, including Coach of the Year, Pair of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Scholar-Athlete and an All-Big 12 Team. Florida State and TCU subsequently represented the conference in the 2026 National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship. The Big 12 publishes championship details, standings, schedules, results and awards through its official website.
