New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association - Tennis

The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) administers separate boys’ and girls’ interscholastic tennis programmes for member high schools in New Jersey. Each programme publishes team, singles and doubles entry procedures; tournament and regular-season regulations; classifications; PowerPoint qualification guidance; challenge-match forms; rule modifications; USTA rules material; and post-season committee records. The boys’ 2027 programme begins practice on 8 March and competition on 15 March. Its team tournament runs from 19 May to state finals at Mercer County Park on 3 June, while the singles and doubles championship concludes at Princeton University on 6 June. The girls’ 2026 programme begins practice on 10 August and competition on 17 August. Its team tournament concludes at Mercer County Park on 15 October, and the singles and doubles championship concludes at Princeton University on 11 October. Both programmes use online team and individual entries and their published cutoff, PowerPoint and seeding procedures. NJSIAA tennis regulations apply National Federation and NJSIAA rules to championship play and establish the team, individual, eligibility and competition framework for participating schools. The association’s sports-committee system supports season review, tournament-regulation and rule-change recommendations, officials’ needs and post-season administration.
