Western Ultimate League

The Western Ultimate League (WUL) is a United States professional ultimate league that creates high-level competitive opportunities for women and non-binary athletes. Organised as a 501(c)(6) entity, it stages a regular season, conference standings, championship play and league awards, with matches streamed free on its official YouTube channel. The 2026 season featured eight teams in Northwest and Southwest conferences: Colorado Alpenglow, Oregon Soar, Seattle Tempest and Utah Wild in the Northwest; Arizona Sidewinders, Bay Area Falcons, Los Angeles Astra and San Diego Super Bloom in the Southwest. Each team played eight regular-season matches—six in conference and two cross-conference—between 14 March and 31 May, before the top two teams from each conference qualified for Championship Weekend in Portland, Oregon on 13–14 June. Seattle Tempest won the 2026 championship 13–8 over San Diego Super Bloom, its third WUL title. The league also recognises individual and team excellence through annual MVP, player-of-the-year and All-WUL honours.
