Softball WA

Softball WA is the state governing body for softball in Western Australia. It represents affiliated associations, incorporated clubs and individual members who play, officiate and support the sport throughout the state. Working within the national Softball Australia structure, Softball WA provides governance, competition and participation support, development services, club and association affiliation, safeguarding and conduct regulation. Its member network includes metropolitan and regional associations, clubs, the Western Australian umpire association and softball organisations across areas such as Bunbury, Geraldton, Pilbara, Rockingham and Perth. The organisation is governed by a board, chief executive and staff, and publishes its constitution, annual reports, financial reports, strategic planning material and AGM documentation. Softball in Western Australia has been administered through successive state bodies since the late 1940s; the state association uses the Softball WA trade name and black-and-gold branding aligned with Softball Australia. Softball WA is the state-level authority, not the national governing body for Australia.
