West Yorkshire County Netball

West Yorkshire County Netball Association (WYCNA), operating as West Yorkshire Netball, is a voluntary county member organisation of England Netball within the Yorkshire region. It develops, delivers and governs recognised netball activity across West Yorkshire through an elected volunteer committee, member clubs, leagues and a Netball Development Officer. The association supports more than 50 clubs and nearly 200 teams, coordinates club development, coaching, officiating, safeguarding, equality, complaints processes and county performance pathways. It organises senior competition in seven divisions at centralised venues, and a junior league founded in 2002 for High 5, under-12, under-14 and under-16 players, with around 70 teams. West Yorkshire Netball also promotes Back to Netball, Netball Now, Walking Netball, Bee Netball and events for varied ages and abilities. It provides the county link between affiliated clubs, Yorkshire Netball and England Netball, rather than acting as England's national governing body.
