Surrey Netball League

The Surrey Netball League is a competitive winter netball league for clubs in and around Surrey, England. It provides league competition for a broad range of standards, from teams seeking county-level competition to players returning to the sport. The league reports a membership of 88 teams from 58 clubs and normally runs home-and-away fixtures on the second and fourth Saturdays from mid-September to late April. Its programme includes Premier divisions and further divisional competition, with promotion and relegation between divisions. The league is administered by elected honorary officers, an Executive Committee and divisional representatives, with an Annual General Meeting held each year. Member clubs must apply annually, meet the league's home-ground requirements and supply umpires; the regulations require current England Netball membership and specified umpiring qualifications for higher divisions. Surrey Netball League is a local competition organiser, not a national governing body.
