Worcestershire County Cricket League

The Worcestershire County Cricket League (WCL) is an English club-cricket league created in 1999 as part of the county game's pyramid system. It is a feeder competition to the Birmingham and District Premier League and was formed through the merger of the Worcestershire Clubs' League and the Autobag/Plumb Centre League, with further clubs joining from neighbouring competitions. The league has close links with Worcestershire County Cricket Club and the Worcestershire Cricket Board. Its current structure comprises 16 divisions, 168 teams and 63 clubs, offering a broad pathway for adult club cricket across Worcestershire and adjoining areas. WCL administers fixtures, results, league tables, club and team records, live scores and match reporting through its online portals. It requires both captains to confirm results and submit post-match reports, and applies its competition rules and reporting deadlines to league and knockout fixtures. The league is administered by league officials and a League Administrator.
