Devon Cricket League

The Devon Cricket League (DCL), currently branded the Tolchards Devon Cricket League, is a not-for-profit competition organisation owned by its member clubs. It organises competitive club cricket across Devon, promotes high playing and facility standards, applies the laws and spirit of cricket, and maintains duties of care and inclusion for member clubs and participants. The league administers fixtures, tables, results, player registration, rules, logistics and Saturday-league scheduling through a Management Team led by elected officers and supported by an employed secretary. Its league results and tables are published through the Devon Cricket website with Play-Cricket integration. The competition is a significant countywide adult-club pathway and has explored a Development League to retain players and support the transition of young players into adult cricket. The DCL is a county competition body, not the county governing body; Devon Cricket Foundation provides wider county development and support services.
