Filipino Australian Basketball Association

Filipino-Australian Basketball Association (FABA), operating publicly as Faba Sports, is a community basketball league in South Australia. Its official site describes the organisation as a hub for Adelaide's Filipino community, created to bring Filipino-Australians together through basketball while welcoming players, families and supporters of all ages and skill levels. Faba runs seasonal competition, publishes game fixtures and leaderboards, and promotes teams, sponsors, camaraderie, culture and athleticism. The site announced a Winter 2026 season and a growing family of teams. Independent community listings identify FABA as a Filipino basketball league in South Australia and name Ronel Jojo Boangcawil as its president or leader. The South Australian Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing listed Filipino Australian Basketball Association (FABA) as a successful Active Club Program applicant, with funding for sports equipment, medical equipment, uniforms and club promotion. FABA is a community sporting organisation and not a national or state basketball governing body.
