Pueblo Parks and Recreation

Pueblo Parks and Recreation offers CARA Track and Field, a recreational summer athletics programme for boys and girls aged five to sixteen in Pueblo, Colorado. Delivered through the Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics (CARA) network, the programme gives young athletes opportunities to try track-and-field events, develop skills and compete with participants from other Colorado communities. Participants practise twice weekly, attend regional weekend meets and conclude the season at a state meet. The department manages local registration, practices and parent communication, while its youth-sports approach emphasises equal opportunity, fundamental skills, enjoyment, personal excellence and sportsmanship.
