Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association - Volleyball

The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) is an NCAA Division II athletic conference, not a volleyball federation. Founded in 1912, it is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri and has 14 members across five states. The MIAA sponsors women’s volleyball, publishes schedules, standings and results, and awards a regular-season championship. Its 2026 season began August 27, with conference matches from September 16; Washburn and Nebraska Kearney topped the preseason coaches poll. The NCAA directory lists the MIAA as Division II with a women’s volleyball administrator.
