The Sun Conference

The Sun Conference administers NAIA beach volleyball, organizing regular-season competition, standings, championship events and conference recognition. In 2026, New College of Florida won the regular-season championship with an 11–0 Sun Conference record and secured one of two conference bids to the NAIA National Invitational. Ave Maria won the Sun Conference tournament championship, defeating New College 3–2 in the title match. The conference’s 12 head coaches select All-Sun Conference pairs and specialty awards, and Academic All-Conference recognition requires at least two completed semesters and a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
