The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association administers NCAA Division II wrestling for its member institutions. In the 2025–26 season, Central Oklahoma won its sixth consecutive MIAA regular-season title with a 5–0 conference record. The MIAA named 21 all-conference wrestlers and recognized Central Oklahoma’s Gabe Johnson as Wrestler of the Year, Cole Mayfield as Freshman of the Year and Todd Steidley as Coach of the Year. Twenty-three wrestlers from five MIAA institutions qualified for the 2026 NCAA Division II Championship. Nebraska Kearney won the national team championship for a second straight year and sixth time overall, while the conference produced 12 All-Americans and two individual national champions. An MIAA member has won each of the past five NCAA Division II wrestling national team titles.
