New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association - Wrestling

The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) is the voluntary, non-profit governing body for education-based interscholastic sport among accredited New Jersey public and non-public high schools. Founded in 1918, it is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations and conducts championship competition for boys’ and girls’ wrestling. The association sets eligibility and competition requirements and administers wrestling through published regulations, classifications, weight-certification procedures, tournament forms and committee resources. Its boys’ championship pathway includes public and non-public team tournaments, followed by district, regional and individual state competition; girls’ team and individual championships are also sanctioned. For the 2026-27 boys’ season, the individual championships are scheduled for 25-27 February 2027 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. NJSIAA publishes dates, regulations, brackets, championship history and event information on its official website.
