Sunshine State Conference - Tennis

The Sunshine State Conference (SSC) administers NCAA Division II men’s and women’s tennis competition among its Florida member institutions. Founded in 1975, the conference marks its 50th anniversary in 2025-26 and publishes standings, schedules, championship information and NCAA postseason coverage through its official website. The 2026 women’s championship was held from 24 to 26 April and the men’s championship from 30 April to 2 May; each winner earned automatic qualification to the NCAA Division II Championship. Barry won both 2026 tournament titles: the women defeated Embry-Riddle 4-1 for a sixth consecutive SSC tournament title, while the men defeated Rollins 4-1. Barry also completed the men’s regular season at 7-0 in conference play and 21-0 overall. Four SSC men’s teams were selected for the 2026 NCAA Division II South Regional. The conference’s tennis championships form part of its broader NCAA Division II programme.
