Sunshine State Conference - Beach Volleyball

The Sunshine State Conference (SSC) administers women’s beach volleyball competition among its Florida NCAA Division II member institutions. Founded in 1975, the conference marked its 50th anniversary in 2025-26 and provides championship information, fixtures, results, standings and awards on its official website. Beach volleyball entered the SSC championship programme in 2025; the 2026 event was its second conference championship. The 2026 SSC Beach Volleyball Championship took place from 10 to 11 April at Saint Leo University’s beach volleyball courts, using a double-elimination format. Tampa entered as the top seed after a 16-9 regular season and won a second straight SSC title, defeating Palm Beach Atlantic in the final. Tampa’s Kaelyn Fredette-Huffman and Hailey Peterson were named Pair of the Tournament. The SSC competition provides a post-season championship for Division II beach-volleyball programmes, which also compete against NCAA opposition beyond conference play.
