United States - Swimming & Diving
The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) administers interscholastic swimming and diving for member high schools in New Jersey. NJSIAA is a voluntary, non-profit association of approximately 440 accredited public and non-public high schools and is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations. The programme conducts boys' and girls' public and non-public team tournaments, individual swimming championships and boys' and girls' diving state championships. It provides team and individual entry systems, seeding and power-point resources, Hy-Tek files, qualifying standards, tournament personnel forms, regulations, classifications, National Federation rule updates and championship history. The 2026-27 swimming calendar begins practice on 16 November 2026 and permits competition from 30 November; team state finals are scheduled for 20 February 2027 and individual swimming preliminaries and finals for 27-28 February. Diving qualification closes on 17 February, followed by the 23 February state championship at Montgomery High School. NJSIAA requires swimming and diving coaches to hold additional professional-rescuer CPR, lifeguard and water-safety-instructor certifications. The association publishes schedules, results, rules and event resources through its official website.
