Illinois High School Association

The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) administers interscholastic wrestling championship programmes for Illinois member high schools. Its official sports portal maintains separate boys’ and girls’ wrestling sections, alongside sport-specific schedules, tournament-series information, results, rules resources and school participation data. The association’s member-school index is maintained as a current statewide reference for participating high schools. IHSA championship participation is governed by its constitution, by-laws, eligibility provisions and sport regulations; schools that are not members may receive approved status for competition with member schools but are not eligible for IHSA state tournament series. This record describes the verified association-level wrestling programme conservatively because detailed current tournament content is served dynamically by the official portal.
